Famous Puerto Rican astrologer calls on Gov. Ricardo Rosselló to resign
In another show of Puerto Rican unity, astrologer Walter Mercado is joining protesters from San Juan to Central Florida in calling for Puerto Rico’s Governor Ricardo Rosselló Nevares to resign.
“I am Puerto Rico, and this is my cry of pain, of anguish, at such a crucial moment,” Mercado told El Nuevo Dia. “You can’t even show up at a university because they won’t receive you, and you can’t leave the Fortress without the police officers around you.”
The television personality is known for his astrology predictions on TV in Puerto Rico, Latin America, and the United States. It doesn’t take psychic ability to see Rosselló’s time in office is limited, as rumors grow louder by the hour that the embattled governor will soon call it quits.
Protests began last week after six government officials, including the former Secretary of Education and former Health Insurance Administrator, were accused of corruption.…
