Umatilla man accused of filming woman trying on underwear at Kohl’s arrested
A Umatilla man was arrested Saturday on a video voyeurism charge after police said he filmed a woman trying on bras and underwear at Kohl’s in Tavares.
Paul Anthoney Lyles, 26, was taken into custody by Umatilla police four days after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He hid in a dressing room stall next to the customer about 10 a.m. July 15 and held his phone under the door, according to police.
When confronted by a manager, “he ran out of the dressing room and quickly out of the store,” police said.
In a Facebook post, Tavares police said loss prevention personnel at the store, at 2700 E. Burleigh Blvd., were “quick to stop this disgusting behavior and he was confronted by the manager.”
Lyles was released from the Lake County Jail after posting $5,000 bond.
